FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- A Coconino County man is facing DUI charges for the third time in a little more than a month after allegedly crashing into three vehicles this week.

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said 39-year-old Jimmy Curley, Jr. was arrested Tuesday evening on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, endangerment, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Deputies responded after receiving reports that a blue Chevy pickup was driving recklessly on Silver Saddle Road in the Doney Park area.

Deputies arrived to discover that three vehicles had been struck by the suspect vehicle.

An off-duty Flagstaff police officer reportedly saw Curley crashing into the vehicles and followed him to a nearby home.

The off-duty officer waited for deputies to arrive and led them to Curley and his truck.

According to CCSO, deputies detected physical indicators of impairment when they contacted Curley.

While investigating the case, deputies learned that Curley had been arrested for DUI on two separate occasions since April 30. Those cases are still pending court appearances.

CCSO said Curley’s license was also found to be suspended at the time of Tuesday’s arrest.

Curley has since been booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility  and is being held on $45,000 bond.
