PHOENIX -- A relaxing beach vacation is just a plane ride away. But getting there can sometimes be tough. While your summer clothes may not take up much room, being gone for a week or more means you need more suitcase space.

On Tuesday's Good Morning Arizona, the folks at The Container Store gave is a few ideas.

The store offers a special "Pack It" system, which layers clothing. It fits about 12 shirts in one compartment. It also comes with a special instruction packet that doubles as a shirt folding guide.

There are also special containers for your socks and underwear. And since they're mesh, TSA inspectors look through them and may not even open them.

Another idea? A travel wallet. "It's easy access to your cards and travel documents," the folks at The Container Store tell us. "That way they're at your fingertips and you won't have to rifle through your everyday bag."

And since these days we have to be careful with our important documents, it's vital to protect them, even from those who might try to obtain information remotely. "These sleeves work well for your credit cards," John Konicek of The Container Store says. "We also carry them for your passports."
