GLENDALE, Ariz. -- A Glendale man faces a second-degree murder charge after a fight between neighbors ended in a fatal shooting on Sunday.

LG Grundy, 37, was booked into jail Monday afternoon.

Glendale police spokesman Sgt. Brent Coombs said Grundy and the victim lived near each other in the area of Maryland and 69th avenues.

Coombs said the men had been arguing for days and the argument escalated to a physical fight in the street Sunday evening. At that point, Grundy took out a handgun and shot the other man.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died.

The victim's name hasn't been released as police are still seeking his next of kin. Police described him as a 26-year-old Native American.
