PHOENIX -- A storm system passing through the West will bring breezy and cloudy conditions to much of Arizona today.
The trough of low pressure will move through Northern Arizona, bringing a very slight chance of showers, but more likely cloud cover and strong southwesterly winds between 20 and 25 mph today and tomorrow.
There is a Red Flag Warning today 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. in northeastern Arizona for dry and windy weather.
In the Valley, look for breezy conditions, with winds between 10 and 20 mph this afternoon and evening. Partly sunny skies are expected with a below-average high temperature of about 95 degrees.
We'll be back to mostly sunny skies tomorrow with breezes lingering but temperatures beginning to warm up. Expect upper 90s both Wednesday and Thursday and triple-digit highs Friday through the weekend, which could top out as high as 106 degrees.
No rain is expected for at least the next seven days.
