Police looking for woman who is stealing from bank accounts

PHOENIX -- There's a thief among us. Authorities aren't sure who she is, but according to police, she has stolen thousands.
“Hits a Wells Fargo, she's not robbing it, she's going in with fake identification of a real person that has an account at that Wells Fargo and then able to draw out a lot of money,” said Sgt. Darren Burch with Silent Witness.
The unidentified woman then does it the next day as well.
“Between these two different locations, she's able to take out close to $12,000,” said Sgt. Burch.
The woman then opens a Nordstrom account and racks up thousands.
Police hope that by getting a couple of pictures out somebody will recognize her and turn her in.
“Approximately $16,000 in three days and now she'll probably go onto her next victim. So we're hoping someone will recognize her picture,” said Sgt. Burch.
If you happen to see this woman, you're urged to call silent witness at 480-WITNESS. You can remain anonymous and be rewarded for your information.
