PHOENIX -- Bobby Priest said he and Brad Harper knew in high school that they were going to somehow become firefighters.

Even though they both flunked the test the first time, both young men stuck with it and their dreams of serving together came true.

That dream died early Sunday morning when Harper passed away from injuries he suffered while fighting a fire Saturday afternoon.

The 23-year-old was somehow pinned between an engine and ambulance as the vehicles were being positioned.

Phoenix Police are investigating just how that accident happened.

This morning, Priest along with other firefighters and friends remembered their fallen brother at the Phoenix Fire Department headquarters.

Each wanted all to know that Harper was a strong Christian and a man of God.

Longtime family friend, Jake Fenton says Harper's family, including his young widow, Lena, are also relying on their faith to get them through this horrible loss.
