APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. -- Four people were injured early Sunday morning when a shootout took place at a motorcycle club in Apache Junction.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said they responded just after 1:30 a.m. when someone inside the Loose Cannons Motorcycle Club called 9-1-1 to say that several shots had been fired and people were yelling that they had been shot.

Deputies arrived on scene to find spent casings littering the ground.

During the course of their investigation, deputies learned that the Loose Cannons Motorcycle Club had been having a party with other motorcycle clubs when members of their rival gang, Devils Disciples Motorcycle Club, showed up.

Approximately 75 people were inside the building when the shooting started.

A woman suffered a superficial wound to the back, while a man was shot in the head. A second man was also shot in the shoulder and stomach.

All three people were taken to Phoenix hospitals.

PCSO said the man who was shot in the shoulder and stomach is in critical condition, while the man who was shot in the head is in stable condition. The woman was treated and released.

Hours after responding to the shooting, deputies found another man who had a gunshot wound to his buttocks. He was treated at the scene by medical personnel.

The shooting remains under investigation, but PCSO said witnesses are not cooperating with investigators.
