Tracking device leads Goodyear police to suspected bank robber

GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Goodyear police were able to apprehend a suspected bank robber Tuesday thanks to a tracking device and now that person has been charged.

Police said Justin Harvey Olson, 32, robbed the U.S. Bank inside Fry's Marketplace near Yuma Road and Sarival Avenue at approximately 2:15 p.m. Tuesday then fled in a vehicle.

A bank teller placed a tracking device in the money bag and police were able to locate the car.

Olson was taken into custody at 111th Avenue and Durango in Avondale.

He has been charged with robbery.
