Jodi Arias book by AP reporters available on Amazon, iTunes nowPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- The jury in the Jodi Arias murder trial has not returned a verdict yet, but one of the first of what's sure to be many books on the sordid case is already available online.
Hoffner sat down with 3TV's Javier Soto just hours before the jury was set to start its second full day of deliberations.
"The public is clearly fascinated with it [the case]," Hoffner said. "People in Phoenix, all around the nation and all around the world, are dying for information about Jodi Arias.
"We've been covering the trial extensively and writing about it on a daily basis," he continued. "We decided to put it all together into a narrative that tells the stories of Jodi Arias and Travis Alexander."
While many have focused on bits and pieces of the case and events leading up to it, Skoloff and Hoffner looked at everything as a whole.
"Once you piece all the elements of this case together, there are just some bizarre and unusual things," Hoffner explained. "When you piece them all together into one sort of narrative, it's pretty eye-popping. That's why I think the public is drawn in to it."

Hoffner said the first part of the book goes over the lives of Arias and Alexander -- both individually and together. The second part is dedicated to the monthslong trial that has captivated the country.
"As most of the news coverage has focused on daily happenings throughout the trial, this book compiles the entire account into one page-turning tale that allows the reader to better understand the lives and relationship of Travis and Jodi in much greater detail than anything previously reported," reads the book's Amazon.com page.
