TEMPE, Ariz. -- Dozens of valley children got fingerprinted and photographed at a child safety fair sponsored by 3TV and TruWest Credit Union.

The free event provided families with vital tools in case their child goes missing, including an electronic, high-resolution picture.

"It's very important because my kids are going away for the summer," says dad Mike Keane. "And if anything happens to them, we have backup."

"Nowadays you don't know if they're wandering off, or kidnappers," says mom Kim Soucy. "at least now I've got the package together.

In addition to receiving important safety information, families also got to have some fun with games, giveaways, and pizza.
