-LIQUID FOIL by HENRY's (Special Order right now at the Pro Desk, soon to be in stores)
-Paint Sprayer-at least 2000 PSI with a #413 Tip (Available for RENT at The Home Depot Tool Rental Center)
-Mask and Protective Eyewear, if spraying.
-General Painting Prep Products, drop cloth, tape, masking paper, etc.
-LIQUID FOIL is mainly intended to be SPRAYED in Attics as a Heat Barrier, to in turn, keep the heat OUT of the house, keep the house cooler and LOWER your ENERGY BILL!!
-It's also GREAT for Garage Doors and the entire garage, if you choose.
-Liquid Foil is SILVER and would NOT be as effective if painted over with regular paint, so wherever it is being applied it will be Silver in color.
-Liquid Foil blocks out 84% of Radiant Heat.
-Liquid Foil is a ONE COAT APPLICATION, can be sprayed or rolled, but if using it on a garage door, we found spraying multiple coats did provide more of a heat barrier and lowered the temperature even more.
-Liquid foil is to be applied on interior surfaces.
-UP TO A 20 DEGREE DROP IN THE TEMPERATURE, WOW!!!
-Liquid Foil comes in 5 Gallon Buckets, cost is $250.00, but it goes a long way, from 300-500 square feet per gallon.
-Available Special Order at the Pro Desk, soon will be an in stock item.
-If Spraying with a Paint Sprayer, be sure to mask off all surrounding areas with masking tape, masking paper, rosin paper and drop cloths. Overspray can fly through the air and get on everything.
-If using the sprayer, you will also need a #413 spraying tip.
-If Rolling, tape off edges, corners, floors and ceiling.
-Spray or roll Liquid Foil on to surface that requires a Heat Barrier.
-Let Dry and ENJOY THE COOL AIR AND THE MONEY SAVINGS!!
-This is and can be a DIY Project, but if you would like Liquid Foil applied Professionally, call: Long's Fine Finishes at 602-739-0027.
