PHOENIX -- Phoenix police say they’ve arrested the man who was seen falling on his face as he stole a set of golf clubs from a Valley home last month.

Andrew Hargenrader, 35, was arrested on Monday on charges of burglary and trafficking in stolen property.

Police said 38-year-old Matt Tippett was also arrested for allegedly serving as the getaway driver.

On March 26, police responded to a home near 64th Avenue and Pyramid Peak Parkway after receiving word of a burglary.

The homeowner told police that he had been inside when he heard a noise in his garage.

The man went outside just in time to see someone run off with his golf clubs and jump into a 2011 Dodge Charger.

The homeowner had a surveillance camera on his home, which captured the suspect falling on his face as he ran towards the getaway vehicle.

Police said shortly after the media began airing the surveillance video they were informed that Hargenrader was the suspect in the case.

Detectives began investigating Hargenrader, and went on to arrest him at his place of employment in Peoria.

According to authorities, Hargenrader admitted to stealing the golf clubs.

On Thursday, detectives were able to locate and arrest Tippett for his alleged role in the crime.
