SUN CITY, Ariz. -- Boy Scout Troop 298 suffered the loss of their trailer when thieves stole it from the Elks Lodge parking lot where they meet, but two generous men made a surprise donation that gives this story a happy ending.

Josh Champion is one of the men who participated in the donation.

“I felt we needed to give back,” Champion said. “You’re only as good as your community. That’s the truth ... and we weren’t expecting anything. We just wanted to give it to them.”

Their generosity could not have come at a better time as the theft was not covered by insurance and summer camp was coming up soon.
