PHOENIX -- A man accused of kidnapping another man who was walking down the street is in jail.

It all came to an end at the "Last Chance Mobile Home Park" on 25th Street near Greenway Pkwy..

The suspected kidnapper, who hasn’t been identified yet, was hiding out in a shed near his home when he was arrested, according to police.

"I saw him getting arrested and cops searched him and everything and after that they put him in the back of a cop car," said a witness who did not give his name. "I talked to his two younger brothers. One of them was just in tears and the other one was just in shock and didn't know what to say."

A spokesman for the Phoenix Police Dept. said a 39-year-old man was walking near Cave Creek and Bell roads when he was grabbed, handcuffed and had a purse like bag put over his head.

He was thrown in the back of a truck that was reported stolen, then brought to a shed at the suspect’s home.

Residents heard something coming from that shed and called the police.

Officers found the truck, which had two shotguns and two rifles inside and immediately surrounded the shed.

After a short standoff the suspect gave up.

Police said he's 20 years old and so far haven’t figured out why he kidnapped the 39-year-old.

The man who was kidnapped is fine.
