PHOENIX -- After topping off at 94 degrees on Monday, the Phoenix metro area should see slightly cooler temperatures for the rest of the week.
Even so, we’ll stay above average. This time of year we “normally” see highs around 88 degrees with overnight lows in the low 60s.
Once again, the storm bringing us the cool change is really producing some nasty weather up in Colorado. On Monday, the Rockies-Braves baseball game was cancelled because of snow. None of that moisture is going to end up in Arizona.
For the Valley, highs the rest of the week will be in the upper-80s to low-90s. Then by the weekend, another warm-up is expected. That should bring us back to the mid-90s.
