SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- An 11-year-old girl was killed Saturday in a car accident just north of Scottsdale and Pinnacle Peak roads.
Scottsdale police said five girls and an adult female driver were in a vehicle that turned left in front of a car that was traveling northbound.
All six women in the car were taken to the hospital.
The driver and three of the girls suffered minor injuries, while the fourth girl suffered a broken pelvis. The 11-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police said everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt, and impairment was not a factor in the crash.
