Guess the First 100-degree Day Contest

PHOENIX -- A strong spring storm system continues to work its way through the west, bringing windy, cooler and wet weather to parts of Arizona.

The day started off with a light dusting of snow in Arizona's high country. Towns like Heber/Overgaard, Pine, Show Low and St. Johns saw snowflakes, although not much was sticking. There is a chance for more light snow throughout the day.

Although winds are not likely to be as strong as yesterday's 50 mph winds, breezy conditions are likely to persist, especially in the Colorado River Valley of Western Arizona.

In the Phoenix Metro area, winds should stay between 10 and 20 mph. This afternoon should also bring sunshine and mild temperatures in the mid 70s.

Below-average temperatures continue tonight and tomorrow as cooler air flows into the state from the northwest behind the cold front. The Valley will see overnight lows in the low 40s to low 50s, and tomorrow's highs will again be in the 70s.

Friday will bring mid 80s, and we'll be back in the low 90s by the weekend.
