PHOENIX (AP) -- Police say five people who are 18 year olds or younger and another person were wounded in an early morning drive-by shooting that erupted as a party in north Phoenix was breaking up.
Phoenix spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson says three of the six people wounded in the 3:30 a.m. shooting on Sunday were in extremely critical condition, while three others aren't believed to have life-threatening injuries.
One of the shooting victims was older than 18 years old.
No arrests have been made.
Investigators don't yet have a description of the vehicle that carried those responsible for the shooting.
The motive behind the shooting wasn't known.
Thompson says police believe there was underage drinking at the party.
