Phoenix police searching for couple, child after alleged assault

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are looking for a couple and their young child who were last seen at a Valley apartment over the weekend.

Police said on Saturday night 29-year-old Juan Francisco Alvarado-Meza went to an apartment near 36th Street and Van Buren where his girlfriend and daughter were staying.

Alvarado-Meza allegedly forced his way into the apartment and knocked out his girlfriend’s male friend in the process.

When the man woke up, Alvarado-Meza, his girlfriend, and their daughter were gone.

It is not known if the girlfriend and the child left voluntarily with Alvarado-Meza. All three people have yet to be located.

Police said the girlfriend is 19 years old and goes by the name Jazmine. She was last seen in a black tank top and black basketball shorts with white stripes.

The daughter is two years old and goes by the name Trina. She was last seen in a pink t-shirt and green and pink camouflage pants.
