PHOENIX -- No big changes in our overall forecast for the next week or so.

Temperatures will edge upward the next few days and then early next week, edge back down. But at this point, no rain is expected in metro Phoenix through next week and we’re not expecting a big temperature jump that would bring us that first 100-degree day.

Morning lows on Friday will be in the 60s with afternoon highs Friday through Sunday in the upper 80s to low 90s.

In the mountains, that translates into highs in the 60s, 70s and low 80s!

Don’t forget to enter our first 100-degree day contest.

If you’re the closest to the time it gets to 100 for the first time in 2013 at Sky Harbor Airport, you could win an air conditioning system. Check out all the rules and regulations then enter!
