PHOENIX -- Police are asking for the public’s help finding the individual responsible for stealing a set of golf clubs late last month.

Authorities said they responded to a home near 64th Avenue and Pyramid Peak Parkway on March 26 after receiving word that a residential burglary had taken place.

The homeowner told officers that he had been inside his house when he heard a noise coming from his garage.

The man went outside just in time to see the suspect running from the garage with his set of golf clubs.

The suspect jumped into an orange, two-door Dodge Challenger or Charger and fled the area.

The homeowner attempted to follow the suspect, but he was unable to catch up.

The suspect is believed to be a white male between the ages of 18 and 25. He stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.

The man was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

Surveillance video from the home shows the suspect falling as he attempts to run away. Police said the man may still have an injury to his face.
