Scottsdale man pleads not guilty in wife's death

PHOENIX -- A 61-year-old man accused of killing his wife at their Scottsdale home has pleaded not guilty to a first-degree murder charge.

Michael Jay Cohn entered the plea in Maricopa County Superior Court Thursday morning. His next court date is May 29.

Police said Cohn called 911 on March 27 and told the operator that he had strangled his wife.
Responding officers found Linda Cohn's body in a bathroom of the home near Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway.

Linda Cohn, 60, was a psychologist specializing in substance-abuse counseling.
