PHOENIX -- Police have located and arrested a suspect in a homicide that occurred March 29 at a Phoenix apartment complex.

Clint Eastwood Maez, 21, was booked for second-degree murder and an outstanding warrant.

Maez had been considered a person of interest in a fatal stabbing near 55th Avenue and Indian School Road.

The victim was identified as Johnny Espindola, 50. His 54-year-old brother sustained a non life-threatening injury.

Police arrested Maez on Monday near 40th Avenue and McDowell Road.

Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Steve Martos said Maez invoked his rights and did not speak to investigators.
