PHOENIX -- A 15-year-old girl accused of shooting another teen after they burglarized a Valley home has entered a not guilty plea in the case.

Ladajianna Mosely entered the plea Thursday during an arraignment in a Phoenix courtroom.

Mosely, 17-year-old Raymond Berryman, and a 16-year-old boy reportedly broke into a home last month and stole a shotgun, a .45-caliber handgun, and a revolver.

The teens were playing with the guns following the burglary, which is when Mosely allegedly pointed the gun at Berryman and pulled the trigger believing that it was unloaded.

Berryman ran into the street with a wound to his chest and collapsed. He was rushed to a Valley hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, Mosely and the other teen had planned to hide the firearms and tell investigators that Berryman had been killed in during a drive-by shooting.

Mosely reportedly told authorities the truth after being taken to police headquarters.

The other teen involved in the case has been charged with one count of first-degree burglary.

Mosely will be back in court on May 21.
