PHOENIX -- She's one of TV's toughest trainers.  Jillian Michaels is a personal trainer who jumped to fame on the show "The Biggest Loser", and then starred in her own show: "Losing It With Jillian."

Now, she's about to tour the country, taking her "get healthy" mission to folks around the United States.

Michaels' "Maximize Your Life" tour will be making s stop in Phoenix, on Sunday, April 14.

"I happen to love Phoenix," she says. "So for me, personally, it's really exciting. And I can't wait top show up!"

Today the trainer talked to Good Morning Arizona's Stella Inger about  what folks can expect from the tour.

"It's a very energetic, multimedia experience,"she says. "Very interactive, so prepare to be engaged in questions, and maybe be brought on stage. So don't buy an aisle ticket if you're terrified!"

Michaels says she'll be sharing tons of advice and tips on fitness and weight loss.

"If you want to know about weight loss, I'm going to make sure you leave with that information," she tells us. "How to lose weight and how to keep it off."

She talks about following the 80-20 balance rule for fitness. "Work out five times a week," she says. "80 percent of your days, try to get some exercise in there. And when you do go to the gym, if you don't have an hour, learn the proper techniques so 20 to 30 minutes is going to count and have a maximum impact. 20 percent of the time, have a piece of pizza, have a glass of wine. Just not all the time."

"Maximize Your Life" tour kicks off April 4 in Canada, and is headed to 35 cities. It's in the Valley on Sunday  April 14.
