PHOENIX -- 3TV is dedicated to being an influential part of Arizona's Family.
Our community outreach expands past our airwaves and into the lives of our viewers: at their schools, supporting their causes and contributing our support to each and every member of Arizona's Family.
As a station, we invest our time in causes that are close to our heart, and sponsor events and organizations that make an impact in the state.
The motto of "Arizona’s Family" is demonstrated by our talent and their participation in various events, supporting hundreds of organizations that make Arizona a better place.
Together we can make a positive difference and support every member of "Arizona's Family."
On Air Talent Activities
March 10: Christine LaCroix tlaced up her walking shoes for the Valley of the Sun Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research. People strolled Kiwanis Park in Tempe raising funds to save their loved ones and those affected by cancer.
March 13: April Warnecke and Kim Quintero were ladies in the sky hosting the Junior Forecaster Experience at Arizona Science Center.The two were excited to bring an all girl take on science and math and weather in Arizona.
March 21: Valley Leadership Man and Woman of the Year Awards took place at the Biltmore Resort. Hosted by Carey Pena, the event honored Mr. Tom Ambrose and Ambassador Barbara Barrett for their strong positive presence in Arizona.
March 23: Pups and Parkas united at the 16th Annual Compassion with Fashion event. A 7th inning fetch hosted by Carey Pena, the event raised money for AZ Humane Society. The starting line up of adoptable pets all found homes at the fashion forward luncheon. My Sister's Closet rocked the runway with a few four legged friends working it with the models.
March 24: It was food and theater for the 3TV talent. Natalie Brand traded her microphone for a judging ballot at Bon Vivant at Rawhide. The reporter was a celebrity judge tasting the best food The Valley has to offer. The Annual fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley brings together hundreds of vendors under one roof while raising money for the children. Christine LaCroix was bit by the acting bug as she host the Fountain Hills Community Theater Season Preview. An exhibition event and fundraiser, the crowd supported the arts while getting a sneak preview of the productions set for the up coming year.
March 8 - 10: Birds were back this season as 3TV sponsored the 25th Annual Chandler Ostrich Festival. The three day event was fun for the entire family not just the feather friends.
March 20: For the first time every Arizona Gives Day united all Arizona Non-profits and charities to collect donations. In total Arizonan's gave $928, 541 in 24 hours.
Our station ambassador, Christina Duggan, leads select members of Arizona’s Family through a one hour educational tour explaining the inner workings of 3TV, CW6 and azfamily.com. Scouts were all over 3TV going behind the scenes and seeing how the news world works! During March a local youth group, journalism from Xavier College Preparatory and Sandra Day O'Connor High School toured our facility
