PHOENIX -- A former Paradise Valley High School teacher accused of having sex with a female student has pleaded guilty in the case.
Jordan Doneskey, 26, pleaded guilty Tuesday to three counts of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
His sentencing is scheduled for April 25.
Doneskey was arrested last August after police learned he had been engaging in a sexual relationship with the student for several months.
The mother of the then 17-year-old girl was arrested on charges of child abuse and failure to report. Police believe she knew about the relationship and allowed the alleged sexual conduct to take place in her home.
She pleaded guilty to failure to report a misdemeanor and was sentenced to probation.
Police said the teen was a willing participant in the relationship with Doneskey.
Doneskey was hired at Paradise Valley High School in August 2009.
