Man robs Bank of America in Chandler

CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in a bank robbery in Chandler Monday afternoon.

The suspect entered the Bank of America at Alma School and Elliot roads at about 3 p.m. Police said he gave a teller a note demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapons were displayed and no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his late 20s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and 180 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, light-colored T-shirt and blue-jean shorts at the time of the robbery.
