Sex offender arrested after police allegedly find child pornography inside residence

PHOENIX -- A Valley man was arrested on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after police reportedly  found inappropriate images inside his Phoenix home.

Phoenix police said they began investigating 30-year-old Forrest Brandon Stocks in December.

On Friday, detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at Stocks’ residence near 12th Street and Weldon Avenue.

During their search, investigators said they found images depicting children engaged in various sex acts. 

Stocks was interviewed by detectives and reportedly admitted that he had been to counseling for his attraction to children.

Police also learned that Stocks was a previous sex offender, but had failed to register as a sex offender.

Along with his sexual exploitation charges, Stocks has also been charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
