PHOENIX -- If you’re a fan of the 80s, you’re in luck. They’re in the forecast for the entire week.

A ridge of high pressure is building back into the region, so we’ll see sunshine with high, thin cirrus clouds from time to time.

The exception to this rule will be Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday when a weather-maker moves through our region from the west. As of now, it looks like this system won’t carry much moisture with it.

However, we will have cloudy skies across the state, with a small chance of showers in the higher elevations of our mountains. A very slight chance of thunderstorms is also possible in our mountains.

While daytime high temperatures won’t be record-breakers this week, we’ll still average about 8 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year in the Valley. A normal high in Phoenix at this time is 77.

Sunday night, look for a low of 56 degrees with mostly clear skies in Phoenix and a high of 84 on Monday under sunny skies.

Those who are in Flagstaff will have to pull out the long sleeves and jackets Monday. Low temperatures will be in the mid 20s with highs only in the upper 50s.
