Police searching for suspects in Phoenix homicide

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are asking for the public’s help in locating two men who they believe are behind the fatal shooting of another man on Friday morning.

Police said officers responded to a market on the corner of 40th Street and Coronado just before noon after receiving reports of a shooting.

Officers arrived to find a 34-year-old Hispanic man in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

The descriptions of the two suspects are vague, but police said they believe both men are Hispanic and in their 20s.

The suspects are believed to have been driving an older model Chevrolet pickup that is either gold or tan.
