MESA, Ariz. -- Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps police locate a person of interest in a recent homicide case.

On March 8, the owner of a Mesa smoke shop was found murdered inside his store near University and Extension Road.

Police were able to arrest Chad Stevens, 23, and charge him with the murder, but they say there is still an individual that they would like to speak with about the case.

According to authorities, the person of interest was at the strip mall when the murder took place.

Surveillance video was able to capture the man just before police discovered the homicide.

The man is said to be white, and was last seen wearing a white, zip-up hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and white shoes.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or toll free at 1-800-343-TIPS.
