PHOENIX -- Authorities said the bodies of a mother and her teenage daughter have been found murdered inside a Phoenix home near 24th Street and McDowell.  Police are now looking for the mother's live-in boyfriend as a person of interest.

The victims are 42-year-old Christina Wilson and her 14-year-old daughter Vanessa Wilson.

The person of interest police are looking for is 41-year-old Michael Blanco, live-in boyfriend to Christina Wilson.  Police said he hasn't been seen for a couple days and they want to talk to him about what happened.

Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said a family member who lives at the house with the two victims called 9-1-1after finding the bodies on Monday around 1:00 pm.  That family member had been away for the weekend and police said the last time the victims were seen alive was either late Saturday or early Sunday.

Investigators said the bodies had trauma from several different weapons.  Although police haven't elaborated on what those weapons may be they said neighbors heard gunshots Sunday afternoon.

An investigation was ongoing.
