COTTONWOOD, Ariz. -- The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested three people this week for allegedly stealing several thousand dollars worth of music equipment from a Cottonwood home.

According to YCSO, 23-year-old Mitchell Moreno, 18-year-old Charlie Heath, and 18-year-old Gabriel Harman have been booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on charges that include burglary and trespassing.

Last week, YCSO announced that more than $10,000 worth of equipment had been stolen from a fenced in shed at a Cottonwood home.

In the days that followed, Yavapai Silent Witness began receiving several tips about the incident.

On Tuesday, detectives followed up on one of the tips and responded to Moreno’s home, which is in an area adjacent to the victim’s neighborhood.

During a search of Moreno’s house, detectives reportedly found one of the stolen drum sets in the living room.

Heath and Harman were found inside another room, and Harman was reportedly seen trying to hide a stolen guitar.

Upon further investigation, detectives said they found the majority of the stolen equipment in a bathroom.

All three men denied involvement in the burglary. Detectives, however, said evidence obtained during the initial investigation will link the men to the crime.

Detectives estimate that about 95 percent of the stolen equipment has been recovered.
