Students allowed back in Dobson High School after bomb threatPosted: Updated:
MESA, Ariz. -- Dobson High School in Mesa was evacuated Friday morning due to a possible bomb threat.
Aerial video showed students assembled on the bleachers at the football field.
Several police vehicles, including a mobile command unit, were on the scene.
According to Mesa police spokesman Detective Steve Berry, on Thursday someone noticed writing on a bathroom mirror regarding a possible bomb at the school. Police checked the school and didn't find anything.
On Friday, a student apparently was talking about Thursday's incident, mentioned the bomb threat and the school was evacuated.
Police did not find anything suspicious and the students were allowed back into the school, which is located near Guadalupe and Dobson roads.
