Peoria PD looking for change dispenser thief

PEORIA, Ariz. -- Authorities are searching for a man suspected of stealing change dispensers from several Valley convenience stores.

Peoria Police said the suspect is believed to have stolen at least 11 dispensers in both Peoria and Phoenix.

The man often targets more than one store a day. In each robbery he grabs the dispenser from the checkout counter and runs out the door.

The suspect’s most recent criminal activity came on Dec. 21 when he robbed stores at 75th Avenue and Peoria, 83rd Avenue and Union Hills, and 107th Avenue and Union Hills.

The suspect is a white male believed to be between the ages of 35 and 45. He stands between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighs between 150 and 190 pounds. He’s also said to have graying hair, and may wear glasses.
