PHOENIX -- A series of weak weather systems will move across Arizona over the next couple of days.

In the northern and eastern portions of the state, the systems will bring scattered snow showers. In the deserts, we’ll see periods of clouds from time to time and unseasonably cool temperatures.

In the high country, with the passing of each system, we could see an inch or two of snow, but no major accumulations are expected. By the weekend, we’ll see more sunshine.

The weak storms have scoured out the dust and particulates around the metro Phoenix area so the “No Burn Day” advisories have been dropped by the Maricopa County Air Quality Department. However, as the atmosphere stabilizes later this week and early next week, we may see more high pollution advisories.

In the meantime, the next couple of days in the Valley will feature overnight lows from the upper 30s to low 40s, and daytime highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
