PHOENIX -- Police were called out to a barricade situation in a Phoenix neighborhood Wednesday morning.
Aerial video showed several police cars in the neighborhood northwest of 67th Avenue and Van Buren Street.
The incident reportedly started with a husband and wife getting into some kind of argument. According to police, the man threatened his wife.
While she and her children were able to get out safely, the man refused to surrender.
SWAT officers went into the house just before 10 a.m. The man was taken into custody without further incident.
It's not clear if the couple has a history of domestic violence or if police have been called to the home on previous occasions.
No additional details were immediately available.
