PHOENIX -- Another storm system is moving toward Arizona. Although it won't be as strong as Friday’s storm, it will produce rain and snow showers across the state on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Additional snowfall accumulations will be in the 4 to 6 inch range while additional rainfall around metro Phoenix will be generally a quarter of an inch of rain or less.

The Thursday night and Friday morning storm brought .49 of an inch of rain to Sky Harbor Airport, bringing our year-to-date total to 3.90 inches.

That’s still 3.62 inches behind our average rainfall numbers. Some areas of the Valley got more rainfall including an inch of rain in north Phoenix, Paradise Valley and Cave Creek.

Generally speaking, the northern and eastern portions of the Valley recorded greater rainfall totals. For a complete listing of rainfall totals from the National Weather Service follow this link:

Metro Flagstaff reported totals ranging from 3 to 6 inches, while at the Arizona Snowbowl 10 inches of snow was reported.
