Police seek tattooed woman in El Mirage homicide

EL MIRAGE, Ariz. -- El Mirage police have identified a suspect in a Thanksgiving Day homicide and are asking for the public's help in locating her.

Police said a 29-year-old man was fatally shot at a home in the area of 11900 W. Flores Drive on Nov. 22.

Police are searching for Rachel Diane Smith, 27, and said she may be using the nicknames "Featherwood" or "Shoelaces."

Smith is described as a Caucasian female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She has numerous visible tattoos, including a very prominent tattoo on the front of her neck.

Investigators believe she frequents the north and west areas of the Valley.

Police said she should be considered armed and dangerous.
