'Freaksgiving' is your answer to holiday-meal anxietyPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- The holidays are an exciting time but when you're cooking for family members or guests with food limitations or allergies, the experience can be stressful.
It won't be, though, if you're prepared and you will thanks to an event called Freaksgiving.
Ken Scheer, and expert on living gluten-free and the man behind the Freaksgiving concept, says this event was created for the gluten-free and more community.
All dishes are gluten, dairy, soy and egg-free.
A complete recipe book with all 13 recipes that can be used during the holiday season -- and beyond -- will go home with those who attend, allowing enough time for shopping and preparing for Thanksgiving.
This unique holiday feast will be held Nov. 19-20. Patrons can make reservations on either day between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
