SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Scottsdale Police have released the names of a husband and wife who died in a double shooting early Wednesday morning.

Daniel R. Peralta and Laura M. Peralta were found dead inside their home at 10365 E. Corrine Drive near 104th Street and Sweetwater in Scottsdale.
Forbes Magazine lists Daniel R. Peralta as CEO and CFO of Delta Mutual, Inc. The company has an office about a mile from the couple’s home.
Laura M. Peralta is a dance therapist with a studio in Scottsdale.
Police were called to the Peralta’s home at about 5 a.m. on Wednesday to investigate a double shooting.
The couple’s son apparently called 9-1-1.
“He just heard gunshots. He was sleeping, was awakened, and found his parents deceased,” said Sgt. Mark Clark, spokesman for the Scottsdale Police Department.
Police confirm that they are questioning the son, but did not say he is a suspect. They also could not confirm that Laura Peralta or Daniel Peralta were responsible for the shooting.
Clark said Scottsdale Police are currently stopping short of calling this a murder-suicide.
According to police, the Peraltas have no criminal past and there has never been a domestic violence call at the house. Police are, however, calling this shooting a domestic violence incident.
Laura Peralta posted a poem entitled “Trapped” on her Facebook page Sunday.
Lines from the poem included, “Each breath is only to survive. How much pain can we hold? How many times can our heart be mended?”
Police continued their investigation into Wednesday night.
