Oklahoma man arrested in Navajo County with marijuana, crystal meth

HOLBROOK, Ariz. -- An Oklahoma man was arrested in Navajo County earlier this month for allegedly transporting marijuana and crystal methamphetamine.

Jon Brion Harper, 69, was pulled over on Interstate 40 near Holbrook on November 1 by the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office Major Crime Apprehension Team.

Detectives searched Harper’s vehicle and reportedly found 16 and a half pounds of marijuana and eight grams of crystal meth.

The marijuana had a street value of approximately $66,000, while the crystal meth was valued at $800.

Harper was booked into the Navajo County Jail on charges of transportation of marijuana, and possession of a dangerous drug. His bond was set at $100,000.
