PHOENIX -- Did you see all the high clouds around Friday morning?
That was the tail end of a storm system that right now is centered way up in North Dakota. It’s producing a little bit of snow and rain up there, but there was no precipitation this far south.
We will, however, get some slightly cooler temperatures over the next few days because of the system, especially in the mountains of our state. For the weekend, metro Phoenix will see highs in the mid 80s and overnight lows around 60. Next week, we’re going to push those high temperatures back up near 90 for the early part of the week.A week from now, there are some signs we’re going to see much cooler temperatures across Arizona and perhaps some rain and possibly snow.
That change begins on Friday, November 9, but at this point it’s too early to say what the chances for precipitation will be.
