Mesa Fire conducts major mock crash at Skyline High SchoolPosted: Updated:
MESA, Ariz. -- On Tuesday, nearly 3,000 students at Skyline High School in Mesa witnessed a mock crash that could change their lives. It was all in effort to get students to focus while behind the wheel.
The mock crash included one car with four students inside and was supposed to simulate a one-car crash, with one person dead because of the distracted driver.
Students said the crash sent a clear message that drinking and driving, as well as distractions, don't mix.
