Phoenix weather: First week of November outlookPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- It's the first of November and temperatures should be in the low 80s this time of year. The 30-year average is 83, but today's high will run about five degrees above that mark.
We will see most desert locations staying above average until tomorrow. Friday should bring a very small drop in temperatures down to the 80s.
We will see a ridge of high pressure shifting to the east with a weather disturbance to our northwest moving closer.
Our radar shows clouds moving into northern Arizona because the tail end of that system is pushing near our state.
With the weak area of low pressure on the move, our stronghold of high pressure will weaken leading to cooler weather through Saturday. But we make another push for the 90s next week.
