Phoenix PD searching for shooting suspect

PHOENIX -- Phoenix Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a shooting suspect.

Police said on Saturday night a man was shot while walking in an alley just north of East Roeser at North 32nd Street.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is said to be in critical condition.

One of the victim’s friends told police that he was walking behind the man when he heard a gunshot and saw his friend fall down.

The friend said he heard another shot and then saw the suspect run away.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has braided hair with beads and was last seen wearing a dark, nylon coat with fur and faded jeans.
