Pickup truck plows into house in Phoenix neighborhood

PHOENIX -- Police are trying to determine what happened in the moments before a pickup truck plowed into a Phoenix house Friday morning.

It happened at about 8:30 a.m. at in the area of Central Avenue south of Glendale Avenue.

Few details were immediately available.

Aerial video from the Fort McDowell Casino News Chopper showed tire tracks across the front lawn showing the path the truck took as it slammed into the front wall of the home.

The Phoenix Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the 63-year-old driver to a hospital. He is listed in stable condition.

One person was home at the time but was not injured.
