Champion wrestler Anthony Robles is 'Unstoppable'Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Born with one leg, Anthony Robles had the odds heavily stacked against him, but his courage and unyielding determination allowed him to chase his dreams.
It's only fitting that the name of Robles' new book is "Unstoppable" because that's exactly what he is.
Now 24, the 2011 NCAA wrestling champ and three-time All American sat down with 3TV's Scott Pasmore to talk about his book, which chronicles his inspiring story.
When Robles first started wrestling, he was ranked last in the city. By the time he graduated from college, he was one of the best in the country.
Although wrestling was a huge part of his life and ultimate success, Robles' book is not just about sports.
"It is also the story of one man whose spirit and unyielding resolve remind us all that we have the power to conquer adversity -- in whatever form," reads the book's Amazon.com page.
Since his epic perfect season and NCAA win, Robles, known for his amazing attitude and infectious energy, has become a nationally recognized motivational speaker, something that had been a goal.
“I really want to be able to turn around now and help other people achieve things in their lives that others might say is impossible," he told 3TV last March after ending his wrestling career on the highest possible note.
"Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion" is available at bookstores and online.
