Body of dead man found in Phoenix apartment

PHOENIX (AP) -- A dead body has been found at a Phoenix apartment and authorities are investigating the case as homicide.

Phoenix police say employees at an apartment complex called about 10 a.m. Monday after finding the body.

The Twin Palms apartment complex is located at 4323 North 27th Avenue.

Police say the 49-year-old victim sustained obvious trauma.

The name of the man is being withheld until his family is notified.

Police detectives say they have little to go on at this point in the homicide investigation.
